My name is Erica, and I have been a professional family and children's photographer for 10 years in Virginia, Japan, and now California. My husband's Navy career moved us around for a while, but I'm excited to finally land and put down roots in Ventura County. If your school is looking for a new photographer, we should chat. My goal is to provide a better and more personal experience to all the families who attend the schools I photograph. Please review this page for more information about how we can work together.
My school portraits are a modern approach to school photos. They’re meant to bring out the true personalities of the children being photographed. I use a “less is more” mindset to create portraits that are true to the child on the other side of the lens. This results in images that are natural, classic and soulful. Sometimes the children smile, sometimes they laugh, sometimes they are deep in thought. Whatever images I create for your families, my promise is to make sure they're authentic and emotive.
"Not only is Erica incredibly organized, but she is warm and caring and works wonderfully with our students! The photos were beautiful, and our parents were incredibly happy with the way they turned out. From an administrative perspective, Erica handled everything and made picture day seamless. We have already booked Erica for next year and look forward to working with her for years to come!" -Annette, Sonshine Preschool Director, Ventura
