Photography found its way into my life through the people around me who encouraged my love for creativity.
As a high school student, I had an incredible opportunity to explore the world of photography through classes at Ringling School of Art and Design, and it was there, in the darkroom, that I began to understand the beauty in an art that is capable of being simultaneously simple and complex.
Since starting my business in 2013, I have prioritized my own growth and skills as a photographer. I want to be the best I can be for my clients, but I also just simply love this art.
My images have been on display in juried photography shows in Atlanta and New York. I've been featured multiple times in Inspired (NAPCP’s magazine) and won awards in their photo show two summers in a row.
I love shooting portraits. My style tends toward cleaner, classic images, both in how they're composed and edited. My favorite photos are always those that I take between poses - the sweet, candid interactions; the full-body newborn stretches and yawns - that become beautiful, organic art. It's important to me to create natural and timeless photos for my clients. My goal every session is to keep things relaxed and fun and to produce images that are both meaningful and unique.
I've always been a creative-type.
